General Urology

The urinary system includes your two kidneys, two ureters, one bladder, two sphincter muscles and the urethra. They all must work well together and with the genitals to maintain good health. We offer advice about diet, life style, supplements and alternative treatments so that you can maintain genital and urinary organ health. We also diagnose, treat, evaluate and correct causes of urinary tract infections.

Genitourinary Cancers

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of death in cancer in men. We diagnose and manage prostate tumors and cancers as well as any tumors and cancers affecting other genital and urinary organs: Bladder, kidney, adrenal glands and collecting systems.

Kidney Stone Management & Prevention

Pain associated with kidney stones can be excruciating. We offer same-day treatment of pain from kidney stones and from the obstruction of the ureter. Plus, our metabolic evaluation and treatment are designed to help prevent future urinary stones.

Male Fertility & Infertility

Do you think you’re unable to get your partner pregnant? We offer several procedures to determine male fertility. Our semen analysis includes sperm counts to help show if a low sperm count is the problem. We evaluate the cause of male infertility and plan how to manage the issue when we discover it. We also conduct vasectomies, a safe and effective procedure to prevent pregnancy.

Men’s Health

According to WebMD, two out of three men over 70 and nearly four out of 10 men over 40 have problems with erectile dysfunction. While not life-threatening issues, men who experience ED and other ejaculatory issues often become depressed. We offer hormone-replacement therapy to help manage dropping levels of testosterone that lead to issues like ED and premature ejaculation.

Urinary Obstruction

Prostate enlargement is the most common prostate problem for men over 50. Men who suffer have trouble urinating, since an enlarged prostate blocks the flow of urine through the urethra. We offer several procedures to diagnose and treat an enlarged prostate, scar tissue and other possible causes for the blockage of the flow of urine out of the body. We also diagnose and treat the painful effects of urinary obstruction, such as the swelling of kidneys due to a backup of urine as well as kidney, ureteral and bladder stones.

Urologic Endoscopy

Our two endoscopic procedures can evaluate and treat your digestive tract whether you’re in one of our offices or in the hospital. We can conduct a cystoscopy to examine your urethra, the tube that carries urine out of the bladder. We can also conduct an ureteroscopy the inside of your urinary tract needs to be examined.

Voiding Dysfunction

Do you experience accidental loss of urine from the bladder or involuntary bowel movements? These occurrences are caused by the bladder muscle and the urethra not working well together. We diagnose the systems and treat the causes of voiding dysfuntion, including:

  • Incomplete emptying of bladder
  • Frequent urination
  • Painful urination
  • Urinary incontinence in females and males
